What happens when the Travel Divas gather a flock of fabulous Falcons fans from Atlanta and head to New Orleans for a playoff party? Well, let’s just say that when these Divas hit Bourbon Street, the ‘Big Easy’ would never be the same, baybay!!! And if you thought Mardi Gras was the biggest celebration this side of the Bayou, well you haven’t partied with the Travel Divas.

It feels like just yesterday we were lusting over the grandeur that is Fashion Week, and the dazzling garments that graced the runways of New York, London, Paris, and Milan. Now there’s snow on the ground and holiday shopping has taken top priority for many of us. With spring fashion, we will see some current trends ongoing, as well as some exciting new takes on old ones. That in itself seems to be a big trend, maybe as a backlash to the backlash against fast-fashion. Designers want to keep things worth buying, so perhaps keeping a trend going is the smartest thing to do. If that is the case, I heartily agree.
Some of my personal favorite hot trends for Spring 2015 are fringe, bohemian maxi gowns, and pastel outerwear. Fringe on anything and everything including bags, shoes, and apparel. Bohemian pairs nicely with fringe, so it makes perfect sense why the 70’s style maxi gowns were seen on the likes of designers Etro and Emilio Pucci. For outerwear, look towards pretty pastels for your go-to like Burberry Prorsum and Miu Miu did. If nothing else, it will match the sun and flowers that we are all longing for at the moment.
Can’t wait until spring to get in on the latest trends? Here is a bit of inspiration you can find now and wear later, too. Happy shopping!

Coats from right to left: Guess // JCrew // American Eagle
Now that we have gotten a few snowfalls, and the sky is starting to get into its grey phase, it’s time to start bundling up. Every girl needs a staple go-to coat in her closet that is cute but also does the job on those harsh winter days. Above are some of my favorite coats I have seen this season. Each one of them is sure to keep you warm, but also is stylish enough to make you excited to throw it on and take on the snow.
A few tips on picking the perfect coat for you:
- Look for good quality fabric. There is nothing worse than a good looking jacket with synthetic material that feels like you don’t even have another layer on
- Go for mid-thigh or knee length jackets. You want a coat that covers your butt because it will one keep more of your body warm and they look good on most body shapes.
- Pick the right style for your body shape. You are going to need a versatile jacket that can get you through the worst winter days. So pick one that is going to make you look good even when the weather isn’t.

Experience Natural Beauty from the South of France at L’OCCITANE’s Atlanta Flagship Boutique
December 20, 2014Imagine being whisked away to the French countryside. Rolling hills of vibrant colors along with the aroma of fresh blooms entice your senses. As the beautiful midday sun gently kisses your skin, the faint breeze of the Mediterranean beckons you to come hither.
If you crave a sunny, luxurious getaway to the coasts and cliffs in the South of France, you need not go any further. Atlanta’s newest obsession, L’OCCITANE en Provence, offers a colorful fragrance-filled journey through the cobblestone streets and lavender fields of the French Provence with home and beauty products that are authentic, natural, and an adventure in aromatics.

Located at Buckhead Atlanta, a new exclusive shopping district that lines Atlanta’s Buckhead Avenue, L’OCCITANE en Provence specializes in skincare, bath & body, and hair care products for both men and women that are as refreshing as lavender plucked from the Provence hillside. From the moment I entered into this fragrant fabulous boutique, it was clear that L’OCCITANE was something special.
Here’s what I know… L’OCCITANE’s Buckhead boutique is a flagship that boasts as the brands largest in the U.S. and a first for their ‘Provence Home’ concept.
Here’s what I don’t know…Why I could not resist the urge to leave with every product on display. 😀

The raw, simple luxury of the French Riviera imbues everything about this boutique, from its bright yellow façade and cobblestone entry, to sprawling hardwood and mosaic floors that stretch from end to end. Upon entering your sight is immediately drawn to a “golden sun” chandelier made entirely of the brand’s signature, never-fading Immortelle flowers from Corsica. Sooo gorgeous! Every square foot of the boutique is complemented by authentic decor such as stone sinks, wooden dressers and colorful murals, which turn the displays into a collective experience in European luxury. With contemporary flair and picturesque influences throughout, Atlanta shoppers will delight in the warm, inviting and generous atmosphere while discovering the richness of the brand’s story in a new and intimate way.

This fabulous boutique offers a scentful selection of fragrances, cosmetics, lotions and bath products that make the L’OCCITANE collection one of the finest in the world. It’s sooo easy to fall in love with their products, and even harder to pick a favorite. But, if I had to choose I’d have to say the Immortelle Precious Cream would definitely top my list of must-have moisturizers. L’OCCITANE also carries a variety of new textiles and home goods that make it easy to transform your own home into a European spa retreat.
How Fab is that! Travelers Guests can indulge in complimentary facials and hand scrubs while planning their next getaway “Girls Night,” as the boutique is perfect to host private pamper parties.

So take a trip to the French countryside (by way of Atlanta, of course), and stop by L’OCCITANE en Provence in Buckhead Atlanta. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some lots more shopping to do!
Au revoir!!!

Hello Fashion Lovers,
It's time to share one of my favorite metallics this season: rose gold! It's the perfect mixture of gold and bronze and comes off with a rosy shine. The pretty metal has been popping up everywhere this holiday season and is the perfect metallic to set you apart from the typical gold or silver look. Plus, the rosy tint goes perfect with any color palette. I love wearing it with simple black pieces to make it pop even more or dressing it up with sleek different textures to make the overall look more fun and unique. Also, if you're less about clothes and more of a jewelry type of girl, simply wear rose gold accessories to complete your look. This fun metallic is the new color for tons of shoes, bracelets, necklaces, watches, earrings, and more. You'll even find fun books and notepads made with a rose gold cover.
All items shown below are available at The Shops at Mission Viejo and the Brea Mall Nordstrom locations and all other Simon Malls Shopping Centers! So, be sure to head on over to your nearest Simon Mall to get your some pieces for the holiday season. It will be sure to make you shine bright at every festive function.

Items Shown: Three Floor Rose Gold 'Visionary Dress', Ruthie Davis Strappy Heels, Alexander Wang Metallic Bucket Bag, Folli Follie Crystal Ball Ring, 14k Rose Gold Studs, Kate Spade Bow Bangle, Movado Rose Gold Watch

We all know that catching some z's is the secret to looking fabulous, particularly to keep away those pesky crows feet and even that stubborn extra five pounds that may or may not have been a result of a very festive holiday season. So if the answer is that simple – sleep more and look better – then why is it so incredibly hard to actually do it? As a society, we have all become busier than ever due to both an increase in non-traditional jobs, leaving people juggling multiple roles simultaneously, and with our work lives now penetrating our home lives with the convenience of smart phones and Skype. Today, it's much harder to shut it all down, both literally and figuratively.
There are a few ways I like to get in the mood for sleepy time, and naturally they involve fashion. Depending on the night, it could be as simple as wearing a sweet and sexy slip or a cute and comfy matching pajama set. An eye mask is necessary for me because I have a husband who likes to fall asleep to the television, so why not make it adorable and fun like this Kate Spade mask? I love to top it all off with a cozy robe and slippers to lounge at home in the early morning hours, sipping coffee and perusing my favorite magazines. Side note: dawn is my favorite time of day because it is the only time this mom gets to enjoy complete silence.
Before sleeping, I make sure to remove all makeup, moisturize, and apply a water mask by Laneige. Water has been found to be the one ingredient lacking in many beauty products, when it is actually what we all need the most! Finally, a little scented Oud oil is an easy way to relax your mind and get you in the zone for some REM time, and coincidentally it is one of the hottest ticket items available in beauty right now.
So if you are looking for gift ideas for your sleep deprived loved ones or for yourself, the easy answer is: get cozy.

Fellow Style Mavens,
Sometimes winters chill can take a hold on our styling mojo. Even a fashionable gal can be left in a leggings-and-sweater rut, which is why I wanted to show you that even though it's cold outside, we can still find inspiration to dress up for any occasion… even just a day at the office!
If you missed the live segment on WTHR, you can view it here.

Actually I know for a fact that if you get up, dress up, and show up, people will notice your style efforts. You might even be rewarded with a positive comment that will uplift your mood. Who knew that taking the time to choose your outfit carefully would have so many benefits? These outfits styled from BCBG at The Fashion Mall at Keystone are the perfect example of how you can look hot even while the temperatures outside are cooling.

The pictured black and grey-silver sequined skirt and matching top above would be an office to drinks outfit, so if you are a busy working lady then this is a win-win for you, especially if traveling for business you can keep your luggage to a minimum with this duo. The cape blazer is the perfect addition and is slim lined enough to fit under your bigger winter overcoat.

In the past, winter wear has always shied away from white. But this season it has become the hottest neutral, highlighting the freshness of today's fashion. The slit sleeve and built-in decorative collar save you from having to load up on heavy jewelry with this dress. Keep your accessories simple and add a pop of color as I did with the fun box-clutch.

Skin tones like the blazer above are another hot neutral for this season, and for a night out the shorter length gold dress would be the perfect option. Again, the blazer is light enough to fit under your winter coat that you'll need on a chilly night.

My outfit above was from the "Runway" collection. You know I like to be different and this skirt and top combo struck me because of the black and color contrast. The all-black skirt would also work well paired with a light cashmere sweater. In all of the images above, you'll notice that the shoes are open toed, which you may find strange. But I like to take advantage of the time while the snow is still absent and show a little toe-polish color. After all, we'll all be in winter boots trudging through slush soon enough, so enjoy wearing peeps like these while you still can.
Happy shopping and bisous bisous,
Bronte xx
