The ultra chic Aurum Lounge hosted LuXe Lifestyle’s Art & Industry Mixer which spotlights Atlanta’s top movers and shakers. Each month LuXe Lifestyle holds this social soiree to honor Atlanta’s innovators in the fashion, beauty, art, music, and entertainment industries.
LuXe Lifestyle host Renee Knorr of The 19th Hole Magazine
Hosted by Andre Hill of A.H. Entertainment and the always fabulous Renee Knorr, Fashion & Beauty Director of The 19th Hole Magazine, the event highlights individuals for their humanitarian, philanthropic, and social efforts in uplifting their communities.
LuXe Lifestyle honorees
Honorees for the eve were (from left to right) Celebrity Photographer and Film Producer Leo Marshall, Actor Brad James, Beauty Expert Rita Patel, Fashion Designer Rafael Cox (Project Runway – Season 9), Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader Guyla, Lifestyle Enhancement Specialist, Author, and Humanitarian Chloé Taylor Brown, Celebrity Stylist Kim Maxwell, HGTV’s “Design Wars” star Michael Habachy (amazing design work…OMG), and Music Artist Lil G.
"King" James B Kynes, Jr. of Kings of Atlanta with the fab Kelli Fair of Keesecakes by Kelli
Emceeing the event was Janice Lawrence-Clarke, President and Creative Director of JLC Productions, which is a fashion presentation and special event production and consulting company.
The always glamorous Chloe Taylor Brown with husband and former NBA Star Rick Brown
During the mix and mingle, I had the pleasure of meeting most of the honorees; several of whom I had met at previous events such as the always glamorous Chloé Taylor Brown whom I’d met a few weeks prior at the launching for her book “Girl-Swag”. Chloé is also CEO of Total Image Enhancement, an Image Expert, Speaker, and Founder of the Global Girls Initiative (GGI) which features programs geared towards developing and nurturing excellence in girls by encouraging them to mentor other young girls. Chloé has such a dynamic and inviting spirit, and I really enjoy talking with her. After a conversation with Chloé you feel like you’ve just embarked on some remarkable life lesson. I always walk away with some “gem” of wisdom and knowledge that seems to hold me over until the next time I see her. Well Chloé, it’s that time again…I need my wisdom fix! 😀
The beautiful Rita Patel of MiA BelleZZa cosmetics
I also met the wonderful and beautiful Rita Patel of MiA BelleZZa cosmetics www.miabellezza.com. I’d met Rita at the Betsey Johnson Fashion Show during Fashion Night Out, and I must say that her cosmetic products are right in line with the MAC collection. MiA BelleZZa cosmetics are mineral based, wax free, oil free, dye free, fragrance free, and paraben free. Rita explained that her cosmetics are also hypoallergenic, which is great for sensitive skin types (like mine). And judging by her flawless skin, she need not say another word…I’M SOLD!!!
R&B Artist, Actor, and all around happy guy Gary Lil G Jenkins
One of my fav honorees for the eve was Music Artist and Actor Gary “Lil G” Jenkins. Most know “Lil G” from his crooning days as the lead singer of the multi-platinum world-renown R&B recording group Silk, while others fondly recall his performances in a string of nationally touring stage plays including Fake Friends, Perilous Times, Secret Lovers, What Men Don’t Tell, Whatever She Wants, and the hit Tyler Perry stage play “Madea’s Family Reunion.” Gary was all smiles and he has such a warm personality; AND he also needs to get back into the studio, ASAP!!! We miss that sultry voice Gary! Sorry; I got a little carried away…Hey; they don’t make “sangers” like Gary anymore (spelled correctly by the way). 😀
Kelli Fair serves her infamous cheesecake bites
The always fabulous Kelli Fair of Keesekakes by Kelli catered the sweet treats with her infamous cheesecake bites. D-lish! We had a wonderful time catching up.
Elaine Moore Kane of Company & Kane Consultants with honoree Leo Marshall
Lastly, I met Casting Director Elaine Moore Kane with Company & Kane Casting Consultants which is a multifaceted film production coordination company. Such a lovely lady! It felt like we’d known each other for years. 😀
Fabulosity at its finest Kelli Fair Nikka Shae Tamika Morrison and Elaine Moore Kane
Thanks to “Glam-Ma’am” Tamika Morrison of T.Morrison Agency for the invite.
If you don’t know by now, Tamika IS DOIN IT!!!
I had a great time meeting and networking with so many wonderful people, and I look forward to next month’s event!
It’s no secret that Betsey Johnson is by far my fav designer!
Betsey Johnson Fashion Show in Atlanta
Betsey’s whimsical yet ultra feminine styles are sure to garner a second look by envious onlookers at any event. So when I heard that Betsey was premiering her Fall collection in the ATL, I thought… in a display of support for my fav fashion icon, I’d break-out that haute pink and lace tutu that’s been hanging in my closet for a while now. Hmmm… I just might be able to pull it off (well, at least that was my thought back when I bought it). 😀 So, I channeled my inner “rock-goddess” slash “glam-anista” slash “risqué-taker” slash “girly-girl” persona, and headed down to the W Atlanta-Buckhead Hotel for an avant-garde fashion extravaganza like no other, as Betsey Johnson debuted her Fall lineup during Atlanta’s Fashion Night Out. Wheeeeew…
Oh, one more “slash” and I promise I’m done… “cutesy tootsie”. There… I’m done. 😉
Ok; moving on.
This was my first ever Fashion Week event, so I was super excited.
I mean, think about it for a minute… Fashion Week in the ATL? Pinch me please, cause I MUST be dreamin!!!
Betsey Johnson Fashion Show in Atlanta
I think it’s safe to assume that any Fashionista would give her best and most coveted treasures away for a chance to experience a New York-esque Fashion Week event. So, it’s great that Atlanta was chosen to host this event because my bags were already packed, my ticket for The Big Apple was in hand, and I’d lifted the gag order for Duke (the talking baked bean dog) to hold a press conference to reveal the family secret. 😀
This event did NOT disappoint! Holding true to her over-the-top style, the Betsey J fashion show featured designs that were bold, brash, and embellished in an unapologetic “take that” bravado that’s become synonymous with the Betsey Johnson brand.
Delicious cheesecake bites by Kheese Kakes by Kelli
Nikka Shae with Kelli Fair from Kheese Kakes by Kelli
Prior to the runway show kickoff, I attended the VIP Fashion Mixer in the Market Restaurant where I had a chance to mix and mingle over cocktails and sweet treats by Kelli Fair from Kheese Kakes by Kelli. I had the pleasure of meeting Kelli at a fashion soiree and socialite mixer dubbed Fashionably Sound at Crystyles Boutique last month. And just like I remember, her mini cheesecake bites are to die-for. Take me now!
Yolanda Owens of Pampered Nail and Body Spa. LOVE the lime body oil!
Yolanda Owens; Owner of Pampered Nail and Body Spa, whom I met at the #HAUTEBEAUTY Tweet Up, was also there with her iwi Fresh brand of lime body oil. OMG!!! You’ve absolutely got to pay her a visit and get acquainted with her products! You can thank me later. 😀
There were also mini makeovers provided by the fab ladies of Sephora. Of course I had to indulge by getting a fresh coat of lip gloss. 😀
So, after all the pampering and dainty delights, it was time to start the show!
Fab hosts Suchita Vadlamani and Renee Knorr
The hosts for the event were Suchita Vadlamani, (formerly of Good Day Atlanta), and Renee Knorr, Fashion & Beauty Director of The 19th Hole Magazine. Both ladies were rocking BJ inspired dresses and looking uber-fab!!! Loved, loved, loved the accessories ladies!
This fashion show was “haute”!
No, really…it was literally HOTTER in there than my Betsey Johnson wedges; and they’re pretty haute!!! 😉
But, we endured through the heat and were treated to a night of fabulous frou-frou fashion and frilly fun. Try saying that fast! 😉
Nikka Shae with Diva Extraordinaire Stacey Childs
Me and the girls showing off our fabulous shoes
Nikka Shae with Dr Diva Reginia Park from Her Perfect Black Dress
After the runway show, I, along with my Glamtastic Girls, Diva Extraordinaire Stacey Childs (you were rockin those studded Loubies girl!) and Dr. Diva, aka Reginia Park with Her Perfect Black Dress, attended the after party at the Whiskey Blue atop the W Hotel.
What a great night with great friends!
Well, it’s time to put that pink tutu back on the hanger until next year.
(Whistling…)
Here Duke…Good boy!!!
And just what did YOU do while I was away? 😀

Recently I attended a Ladies Night Out event at Philips Arena by the I Am Beautiful Women’s Foundation; an organization that raises awareness for women who’ve been affected by hair loss. This is such a worthwhile cause, as over 80 million Americans are affected with this devastating condition.
Guests enjoy the Atlanta Dream basketball game
The I Am Beautiful Women’s Foundaton (IABWF) Ladies Night Out event was in partnership with the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream who hosted the event from their VIP Private Sky Box Suite overlooking the Atlanta Dream as they took on the Washington Mystics in an exciting game that resulted in a solid victory for the “Dream Girls”. Way to go ladies!!!!
I was so excited about attending this event; not only because of the significance of the cause, but also because I’d never been to a WNBA basketball game before and I’ve always “dreamed” of attending one. After this experience you will definitely see me and my girls in the stands in the future, as it’s so important for young girls to see such positive role models in our women.
Fabulous swag bags filled with all types goodies
Annette Whitlock of Multiple Choices LLC, coordinated the event which featured a networking session, give-a-ways, and fabulous swag bags. I had the pleasure of meeting Annette during the Heeling Diabetes Shoenista Auction a few months back, by way of my insatiable appetite for fabulous shoes. 😛 Annette has such a warm and powerful spirit. After successfully winning the bid on a pair of red stilettos, Annette teased my hubby by insisting that he buy me a purse to match my new beauties. Well Annette, I’m happy to announce that there’s been an addition to my bag collection and I have you to thank for it. After speaking with you, my hubby stated that because of your sweet and persuasive nature he felt that if he didn’t comply with your instructions that he would disappoint you and he did NOT want to let you down. 😀
Ladies; take note. Annette is generally available for your requests after 5pm most days, and can be reached at 770-555… 😀
Vision Illusion Hair Lace & Weave System
Ok, so after the Heeling Diabetes event, Annette gave me her information with the promise to keep in touch regarding upcoming events; and I gave her my information (and my hubby’s) in case I needed some accessories to go with my purse and shoes. ;-P
Annette, who also works with the I Am Beautiful Women’s Foundation, contacted me recently to attend the Ladies Night Out event. I was grateful and humbled by the invite as I definitely have a “hair story” or two (or three) that any woman can relate to. Let’s be honest, we’ve all faced some form of challenge with our hair, and I could only imagine how difficult it must be to lose ones hair completely since we (as women) place so much value on our appearance. The fact is that many women in these situations are left feeling that there are no options for treatment and support for them to regain their confidence to face the world. I Am Beautiful Women’s Foundation (a 501 (c) (3) organization) is one of several organizations that recognizes the affects of hair loss and how it has such an impact on a person’s emotions, health and well-being. I Am Beautiful Women’s Foundation conducts hair loss awareness events through female empowerment workshops, fashion and beauty shows, and networking events. They provide an important opportunity for women to learn more about the many different types of hair loss, and new treatments that can help many of the more than 80 million Americans who are affected.
Nikka Shae with Atlanta Dream owner Kathy Betty
During the event I was introduced to Angela Dickinson, President of the IABWF Atlanta Chapter, Kathy Betty, the current owner of the WNBA Atlanta Dream, and Atlanta Dream coach Marynell Meadors. Both Kathy and coach Meadors dropped by to greet the guests after the game. What a great group of extraordinary women who are all doing great things in our community!
Angela Crawford of IABWF
Angela Crawford, President of the IABWF Atlanta Chapter, spoke about her involvement with the IABWF organization, their efforts to heighten female hair loss awareness, as well as raising funds for hair loss victims. Because of the significance of this mission, the IABWF has partnered with the Atlanta.
Nicole Williams of Buhter Up
I really had a great time meeting and networking with all the fabulous women at the event as it was truly a night to remember. Before departing we were treated to fabulous swag bags that featured Shea Butter samples by Nicole Williams of Buhter Up. OMG! I absolutely love the peach fragrance! Buhter Up will definitely become a permanent fixture in my go-to stash of beauty essentials.
Congrats to the ladies of the Atlanta Dream for their convincing victory over Washington! Your win was definitely a great cap to this amazing night.
Annette Whitlock of Multiple Choices LLC and Angela Crawford of IABWF
This was such a moving event, and I left feeling encouraged, empowered, and motivated. I want to thank Annette Whitlock of Multiple Choices LLC and Angela Crawford of IABWF for the invite.
I’m also thrilled to announce that I was chosen by both Angela and Annette to become a part of the efforts to help raise awareness for this great endeavor by becoming the Official Blogger for Multiple Choices LLC, and “Facing the World” I Am Beautiful Women’s Foundation. I am truly honored, humbled, and excited, as it is such a blessing to be a voice for this great organization, and I look forward to all that is to come.
As I reflect upon the past several months since I began this amazing journey, I must say that it has definitely been a fabulously rewarding experience. I feel privileged and honored to become a part of such a worthwhile endeavor; and this acknowledgment can only serves as a testament that “dreams” really do come true.
I urge every woman to educate themselves about the effects of hair loss and ways in which they can help those living with this condition. Visit www.iambeautifulfoundation1.com for more information.
This event is designed to provide information, tools, resources, partnerships, guidance and support from successful business women around the Atlanta community who can provide to women both young and of age their need to gain their voice, ability, and problem-solving capacity to realize their full potential. We welcome and serve all women and focus our events on young women who are just heading out into the world.
Sisters On The Move will be hosted by “Movement of Powerful Educated Sisters” a Clark Atlanta Charter and “I Am Beautiful Women’s Foundation” (www.iambeautifulfoundation1.com), a local nonprofit that spread hair loss awareness, prevention and treatment for women through female empowerment workshops nationwide.

During Atlanta’s Fashion Night Out week, I was scheduled to attend quite a few events featuring some of the ATL’s hautest boutiques and fashion shows. So, in order to keep my Fashionista membership in good standing :-D, I had to put in a little extra overtime as there were so many events on tap that I’m literally still in recovery mode. So, to accommodate my impending lack of sleep during Atlanta’s most fabulous week, I had to resort to lethal doses of Starbucks’ espresso roast. I’m fairly certain that my coffee indulgence no doubt raised Starbucks stock a few points…at least for the week. 😛 And since this was my first Atlanta Fashion Night Out, I was determined to make it a memorable one.
Ok, so where does a girl begin? Hmmm…
Well, after my midday caffeine drip 😀 , I headed down to Atlantic Station where Fashion’s Night Out and Modern Luxury presented their annual Shop Atlanta preview event.
Market Rwanda by the One Hundred Days Organization
The One Hundred Days organization was also there to showcase their Market Rwanda collection during this annual soiree.
Humanitarian & Author Linda Cox at Market Rwanda
I had the pleasure of attending an event for Market Rwanda at the Emerging Art Scene Gallery in Castleberry Hill in August, and I must say that it was truly one of the most memorable experiences of my life. During that event I met an extraordinary woman named Linda Cox, with the One Hundred Days organization. Linda has such an amazing and generous spirit; and, she literally gave me the jewelry from her neck. 😀 You can read more about the event at the Emerging Art Scene Gallery here.
So, upon entering the Shop Atlanta VIP only event, I was immediately thrust into boutique heaven as the participating vendors showcased a smorgasbord of pieces deserving of nothing less than a harp serenade. 😀
Cupcakes on display at Shop Atlanta
Guests of the event were treated to cupcakes, lite bites, cocktails, and fab swag bags filled with makeup kits, the latest issue of Jezebel Magazine, discount coupons from participating boutiques, and an assortment of other goodies.
There were quite a few surprise finds at the event like Bou Cou and Yadiyda. You’ve got to see the Yadiyda collection….smokin haute!
Nikki Cook and LaTanya Vaughn with Material Girl Boutique
Gad Nziramakenga whose parents are the inspiration behind They Had to Run
Market Rwanda showcases a distinctive collection of beautiful handmade jewelry (or “accessory art” as I call it), home decor, and garments made by women from the impoverished country of Rwanda. Linda Cox, Humanitarian and Author, was also there to support the Market Rwanda effort which aims to build the Good Shepherd Community Hospital for Children in Kigali, Rwanda through the sale of her book “They Had to Run”.
“They Had to Run” is such a great story that will encourage, empower, and motivate you. During the event I had the pleasure of meeting Gad Nziramakenga whose parents, Simon and Kedress Nziramakenga, are the inspiration behind the book.
Please support this great endeavor by visiting One Hundred Days.
Nikka Shae and Tamika Morrison of T.Morrison Agency
Special thanks to the always glamorous Tamika Morrison of T.Morrison Agency for the invite; and great job on the Market Rwanda display area as it was uber-fab!
I look forward to seeing you ladies at the next Market Rwanda event!
House of Adrene
So after Shop Atlanta, I headed down to House of Adrene in the Castleberry Hills district to cap off my night of fashion, in style. DL Winfrey of Pretty Girls Rock Dresses hosted the event which showcased Adrene’s collection of “urban chic” wear for both women AND men. Yep! Now the guys have a trendy and fashion forward option to add to their arsenal. Let me tell you, celebrity stylist, Adrene Ashford, is setting the mark with her ultra luxe, hip, and trendy styles that have graced many red carpets and event premieres making House of Adrene the go-to among industry trendsetters.
Love this feathered choker from House of Adrene
Bold fashion at House of Adrene
Adrene has worked with some of the biggest stars in the industry; divas like Vivica Fox, Taraji Henson, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Rowland and Ciara, along with male clients like Hill Harper, Terrell Owens and the King of the South himself T.I. With a roster like that, you know you’ll be the best dressed at the party! 😀
Fabulously fierce fashion at House of Adrene
From vintage tees to fabulous tops, skinny jeans, and dresses, House of Adrene offers an amazing collection of apparel that will tap into your inner urban-rocker persona; and their unique collection of fierce accessories will be just that needed piece to complete the look.
Some of Atlanta's most Fashionable bloggers along with Carla (2nd from right) of Carson Bryce and Adrene Ashford (right front row) of House of Adrene
Fab blogger Bustin Out the Seams and Nikka Shae
Also at the event were some of Atlanta’s most fashionable bloggers, ChareeLenee, Bustin Out the Seams, Lipstick Manual, Baby Shopaholic. We had a great time catching up, checking out the selections, and plotting our next rendezvous. So, watch out ATL… The Fashionista’s are on a mission to make you over, one boutique at a time (insert sinister laugh)!
Deliciously invigorating beauty products by Carson Bryce
Also featured at House of Adrene is the most deliciously invigorating assortment of handmadebath and beauty products by the Carson Bryce Trading Company. OMG! After smelling their Lemongrass soap…Let’s just say I was seriously contemplating having my nose embalmed afterward. 😀 Just imagine a scent so refreshing that after one whiff your senses would be awakened as if they’d been in a coma for the past 20 something years.
Carson Bryce products are free of artificial fragrances, colorants, and dyes, and are rich in natural plant based ingredients such as olive oil, coconut oil and Shea butter. Combined with real fruit juices, you’re left with naturally moisturized and beautiful skin.
Ok, so now that I have “one day” of Fashion Week under my belt I’m heading home. If you don’t hear from me for a day or so, don’t worry. I’ll likely be hold-up in my Jacuzzi with my Lemongrass sample from Carson Bryce. ;-P

The pink carpet was literally rolled out as the Chic Boutique Tour hit Atlanta’s premiere boutiques for a day of fun and shopping, shopping, shopping!!!
The Chic Boutique Tour is by far THE most unique shopping experience I have ever had!
Just envision this scenario; you (and your fellow explorers) board a tour bus (vessel) as if you were “Jacquelyn” Cousteau (stay with me here), in search of fabulous finds all around the city (or in this case the Galapagos Islands). All the while you’d be uncovering rare and exotic species (boutiques) of which you’d be more than eager to share these new found discoveries.
So, not only were we exposed to wonderful boutiques that we may not have known about otherwise, but we did so in a comfy, relaxing and fun atmosphere while being chauffeured around in celebrity-esque fashion. Eat your heart out Hollywood!
Add a few cocktails, some yummy treats, prizes, a few giveaways, and you would never look at shopping the same way again…and/or you may never want to go home (speaking in first person by the way). ;-P
Now that you get the picture….let’s move on.
From the moment we set foot in each boutique, we were treated like A-list celebrities at a post-Grammy’s party. We were all given the quintessential VIP treatment as they truly pulled out all the stops to show each of us a fabulous time…Oh, and we also received 20% off our purchases for the day…Hmmm…This excursion just turned into a “Deals on Wheels”, OR, since there were fab ladies on board it could be dubbed “Heels on Wheels”. 😀
Ok, let me give you the details….
Coposhi boutique in Buckhead
The tour began at Coposhi Boutique in the heart of Buckhead. You remember Coposhi right?…That swanky, happenin boutique that is redefining the word “cool”. Check out the Coposhi write-up (here) to see why they ARE “The New Cool”!
Ladies sashay on the pink carpet. Work it girls!
So, upon entering this happenin spot; guests were greeted by a pink carpet runway which begged for a sashaying, and there were plenty fab ladies present to accommodate!
The "New Cool" on display at Coposhi
Coposhi owner Russell Wyche with tour guest
Hpnotiq with their new Harmonie flavor
Hpnotiq was there to introduce their Harmonie drink which is the latest addition to their Girls Night Out line. This new flavor was so refreshing, and it also has a very girly appeal to it with its violet color and a blend of floral and natural fruit infused flavoring.
Tour guests pose with VitaminWater
VitaminWater was also in attendance to promote their Glow flavor. Two words…D-lish! I remember the Glow flavor from the VitaminWater Inspired Fashion Show where local fashion designer Dwayne Woodard presented his fab interpretation of the Glow flavor in this one of a kind piece.
So, after a few cocktails, sweet treats and mingling, it was time to board the glam bus and do some shopping!
What time is it? Giveaway time!!!
On the bus we enjoyed more cocktails while watching the movie “Jumping the Broom”. While we were in route to our next destination, Rosalynn Wilson, Founder and CEO of Chic Boutique Tour, emceed with giveaways and prizes. When it was time for a giveaway, Rosalynn would shout out “Guess what time it is?” And the ladies would respond with “Giveaway Time!!!” We had so much fun!
PZI Jeans has all of your curves covered
So, once we reached our first destination PZI Jeans, located on Hugh Howell, Rd in Tucker, GA we were pumped and ready to shop.
Tour guests at PZI Jeans
PZI Jeans carries styles for voluptuously curvy Diva’s (like myself of course). Three words…Fine-All-Lee! It’s great to find a store with trendy styled jeans… that I can actually wear.
Nikka Shae trying on a pair of PZI Jeans
Now don’t get me wrong…I love my grandmother dearly, but I shouldn’t be forced to wear her style of denim (high waisted “grandma” jeans) because there are no clothiers out there that cater to women with curves. Well fret no more. PZI Jeans are not styled for generations past. And, they are available in sizes 4-18 and comfortably designed for short, regular, long AND extra long legs; and women who have a little more junk in their trunk. ;-P Check them out. I promise you will never look at denim the same way again.
Exclusive pieces on display at Estella's
So after my brief love affair with PZI Jeans, we boarded the glam bus and headed to our next destination, Estella Boutique and Closet located in historic downtown Roswell on Canton Street.
Rosalynn and tour guests showing their fab finds at Estella's
I had the pleasure of visiting Estella’s several months back, when they hosted a swanky toast-n-taste soirée called “Girls Night Out”. Dubbed “Hollywood on Canton Street”, Estella’s quaint boutique boasts about the exclusivity of their pieces since many of the items were actually used in music videos and photo shoots, as revealed by Estella’s owner and celebrity stylist Tameka Raymond.
Estella's tranquil ambiance with eclectic accents
With its hardwood-wrapped walls and floors, and its tranquil yet cozy ambiance, Estella’s provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing experience…(insert shade palm and ocean breeze).
Polished & Primped nail bar and boutique in Midtown
Last stop on the tour was Polished & Primped nail bar and boutique located inside the Plaza Midtown building near downtown Atlanta. What a neat concept; fabulous shopping and a full service nail bar…in the same place!
Dawn Riel of Polished & Primped and Rosalynn of Chic Tour
Founders Dawn Riel, Kim Wilkins & Selam Welde have created the quintessential “girls paradise” with a boutique so lavish that it will have you speed dialing your interior decorator with ideas of recreating their ambiance.
Polished & Primped has captured the essence of chic
With their uber-chic and glamorous setting, entering Polished & Primped felt like I had just walked into my dream boudoir. The décor is sooo exquisite. They’ve gone out of their way to create a very romantic aura with dimly lit back-lighting that displays their garments and accessories in a “come-hither” manner that begs for a closer look.
Fab styles at Polished & Primped that begged for a closer look
Polished & Primped carries familiar brands such as Blaque Label, LnA, Ryu, Valerie Tolosa, Voom by Joy Han, Va Va, James and Joy, Ark and Co., Mawi, Lee Angel, Erica Pena, Hanky Panky, and Cosabella to name a few; alongside unique one of a kind pieces.
The nail bar at Polished & Primped with OPI colors
The nail bar carries my fav brand of OPI nail colors that I absolutely love!!! If you think you’ve seen a fab nail bar, think again! Polished & Primped is not like any other, and from the moment you enter this boutique you will be blown away!
Chef Shombe's cobbler was a hit with the ladies
Now, back on the “Diva Express”, while headed back to Coposhi, we were treated to the most decadent peach cobbler this side of Grandma’s treasured recipe. Chef Shombe’s Catering provided this wonderful delicacy that absolutely melted in my mouth! Their slogan is “A taste you won’t forget!”… Well, after my first bite and for a brief moment I I couldn’t remember where I was. 😀 As you can imagine there wasn’t much chatter amongst the ladies during this time, but, you could faintly hear the melody of cherubs serenading us with each bite. 😀
"Giveaway Goddess" Rosalynn kept the ladies focused with prizes
So, after the heavens smiled upon us, we were ready for another giveaway…Hit it Rosalynn!!! 😀
Cocktail Cupcakes made with Hpnotiq Harmonie. Take me now!
As we returned to Coposhi, we were treated to a wonderful candy bar, and a special treat made with Hpnotiq Harmonie called Cocktail Cupcakes. You heard me correctly…These bite sized beauties are inspired by cocktail drinks…and they’re made with real alcohol! Brittany Wyatt, the owner and creator of this fabulous treat, explained the concept behind her creation and all the wonderful flavors they offer. Happy hour wrapped in sweetness! I’ll toast to that!!! ;-P
Nikka Shae and Jackie O of 4Sight Media
I had a wonderful time with all the fab ladies on the tour. I would like to thank Rosalynn Wilson of Chic Boutique Tour (better known as the Giveaway Goddess 😛 ), and Jackie O of 4Sight Media (who handled the PR duties), for putting together such a wonderful and fun event!!! I had a blast, and look forward to the next tour on November 12, 2011!!!
It was great to mingle and network with so many fabulous women, and shop like there was no tomorrow! And with a portion of the proceeds going to the Lupus Foundation of America, it was definitely worth it!
It was truly a great display of unity, as well as a testament to all the women who came before us who struggled and sacrificed for our rights as women to be treated as equals. So, now there’s no question of “Who runs the world?” WE do!!!
Well, all the votes have been counted and the winners have been chosen.
So, without further ado…
Super HAUTE!! Love the Cheetah print on the soles!
